Raihan Bashir is a product and technology leader with 20+ years of professional track record in building commercially successful digital products and platforms for Fortune 500 companies in the USA.
In his current role as Director of Product Management based in NYC, Raihan is designing the next generation core payments platform and network at Mastercard – built a cloud native API Gateway for Mastercard’s largest acquisition MPS that processed 20+ Billion transactions in 15 countries during the last 12 months. Prior to this, he had a successful career as product and technology leader on Wall Street (Executive Director at JP Morgan Chase, Director at Credit Suisse), where he led transformation to automate a $800 Million global Equity Capital Markets business. During this time, he led a global organization, built cross-functional teams from the ground up in 5 different countries, enabled multi-asset electronic trading in 50+ markets globally, and launched innovative digital products that ranked #1 in the Greenwich and Tabb customer surveys.
Raihan was born and raised in Bangladesh – all his higher studies and professional career are in the USA. Raihan obtained MS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, NYC and BS in Computer Science from Texas State University. He is currently pursuing a part-time MS in Data Science at Data Science Institute, Columbia University. In 2022, Raihan founded companies in Bangladesh (Aspire Intelligence Ltd) and USA (Acai Agile Intelligence Inc) to provide data science and IT enabled services driving digital transformation for businesses in the USA and Bangladesh.
